I started out working for design and motion studios in New York and LA. I built my craft that way and got pretty good at design. In 2018, I switched over to the brand side of things when my buddy at Apple convinced me to take a 6-week contract at Apple Marcom in Cupertino. 

That led to 5+ years at Apple, moving up to NorCal, working through a global pandemic, converting to a full-time Art Director, and moving back to SoCal. I learned a ton about “the client” and “the brand” and leading teams. 

I took a bit of a detour after leaving Apple earlier this year and now I’m open to freelance and contract work. I have a wide skillset. I can conceive and execute most digital needs for a brand team. I love working on paid social marketing and using performance metrics. I think in motion. I can also lead a project start-to-finish on the studio/agency side. I can read a room when presenting a deck to clients and stakeholders. I have a passion for fostering creative talent and creating a team culture of inclusion, trust, and transparency. I’ll stop now because I made way too many “I” statements in a row.
